Jednotlivé kultury dodávají přitom materiál, jenž je globálně к dispozici, jakmile se uloží v paměti počítačů a celosvětově se šíří v médiích. Světová kultura, jež své bohatství ovšem nevytvořila sama, oslavuje svou všemocnost, protože - zdánlivě — vlastní vše, nač si lze vzpomenout, a proto si nepotřebuje už na nic vzpomínat.  Světová kultura je vlastně jakýsi fantom médií, která každému, bez ohledu na původ a majetek, slibují stejný podíl na kultuře. "Byly jsme tam taky" Dagmar Šimková

Dagmar Šimková (*23. 5. 1929 - 24. 2. 1995) byla 14 let nespravedlivě vězněná komunistickým režimem; v elitní společnosti mj. profesorky Růženy Vackové, skautské aktivistky Dagmar Skálové či katolické spisovatelky Niny Svobodové. Po návratu na svobodu sejí podařilo emigrovat společně s maminkou za sestrou do Austrálie. Studovala umění, historii, archeologii, psychologii a sociologii. Ve spolupráci s Amnesty International se věnovala pomoci vězněným lidem. Pracovala také jako kaskadérka u filmu a uspořádala výstavy svých výtvarných prací. Po listopadu 1989 několikrát navštívila Prahu. Zemřela v Austrálii a je pochována v Perthu.
